CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY
Before a Veteran can receive VA financing for a VA home loan, you need to have your Certificate of Eligibility. To receive your certificate from the VA, you must complete VA Form 26-1880. If you do not yet have your Certificate of Eligibility, VAMortgageCenter.com can request it for you!
Since the VA does not lend money to borrowers, it is beneficial to have your lender order it for you, through the VA. This way, you won't have to do any of the work and your COE can be used to help complete the home purchasing process.
We can usually get your VA Certificate of Eligibility for you very quickly, rather than weeks or even months. If you would like help getting your Certificate of Eligibility, please start the VA home loan pre-qualification process below. Otherwise, if you are already working with a lender, please request help directly from the VA.
