This video was put together by someone as a tribute to those who lost their lives on 9/11 and our military and leaders back then. Darryl Worley is a big troop supporter and a huge patriot. This video was put to his song, Have You Forgotten, which is very appropriate as we approach the ten year anniversary.

This news clip is from ABC on the morning of 9/11/01 as they started to collect up “on the street” footage of the towers falling and the people running from the towers. There is also candid footage of (then) Mayor Guliani trying to assess the footage and make his way to the World Trade Center.
No introduction really needed for this one. Just advice to maybe grab a tissue as I am sure the feelings of that morning, the sadness, the helplessness may come back to you as you watch this video.
This is another in the “Remembering 9/11″ series I am running. In this footage, CNN has several “on the street” interviews of people in NYC between when the towers were hit and when they fell. Also there is better footage and a clearer understanding of the attach on the Pentagon. Last but not least, while this footage is happening the first reports of Flight 93 crashing in Pennsylvania is learned.
This news clip is from local Washington DC CBS station, Channel 9 as they have extensive coverage to the aftermath of the attack on the Pentagon on the morning of 9/11/01. The second WTC tower also collapses in this footage.

In the ongoing series of “Remembering 9/11″ here footage from CNN’s broadcast the morning of 9/11/01 when the first tower collapsed”. I watch each one of these before I post them and let me tell you it gives me goosebumps and draws emotion to watch this all over again. I am posting these because I think America needs reminded of the feelings we all shared together that terrible morning.
The video below shows the animation of air traffic over the USA on the morning of Sept 11th, 2001. As the events happened that morning, you can see the air traffic go from over 3000+ flights in the air at one time to near nothing.

This is the second in a series leading up to September 11th, 2011, highlighting some of the raw and emotional reporting the morning of the attacks in 2001. This footage is from ABC after the two planes hit the WTC and during this broadcast President Bush makes his first remarks and then the Pentagon is hit.
As we count down over the next 11 days to the 10th anniversary of the horrific attacks that changed our lives, this country and essentially the planet I will be running a daily series with video clips and footage from that terrible day and the days that followed.
For this first one in the series. Here is Fox News 5 (Washington DC) news coverage from that morning. You will notice at 21:26 into this clip they dump the commercial and go right to the emerging story.
