The Outstanding VFW Website Award
Beginning with the July 2007 nominees, You Served will be sponsoring a reward and donation program to highlight 20 VFW posts from around the nation for maintaining oustanding websites. The Outstanding VFW Website Award is chosen from thousands of possible winners across the United States in a tribute to the combined efforts of their members and their webmasters. Just like we have done with our Scholarship Program, the employees of VA Mortgage Center.com (which funds You Served) have decided to reach out to the members of the VFW organization.
With the internet continuing to build in speed, usefulness, and popularity (especially among our older generations), VFW posts that continue to take the time to develop easy-to-use and updated websites for their members deserve some recognition.
Post websites were chosen based on web design, content, resources provided and ease of use. Each post has been notified of their recognition with a formal letter, a seal for their website, and a $50 donation check from You Served and VA Mortgage Center.com.
