On Loan at You Served

Starting May 15th, 2009

You Served has long been the home of featured military bloggers like CJ, Troy and Claire. They are the backbone of our blog and radio show, and the true reason that our readers come back to YouServed.com time and again.

You Served is also unique in providing a forum for introducing new milbloggers to the community, having had numerous guest bloggers and featured interviews over the last 3 years.

So, how’d you like to find some new milblogs to help quench your thirst for daily internet reading?

It is one of our biggest goals of 2009 to feature milbloggers in this space that are new, exciting, and otherwise unknown to our readership. We are seeking bloggers who are willing to be “on loan” to our blog for a few posts over 2 weeks. Just like professional sports teams sometimes get players “on loan” for a short period of time, we will do the same on You Served.

Come May 15th and throughout 2009, you’ll find a new military blogger every 2 weeks eager to show you their stuff. The blogger will also be a featured guest on You Served Radio, our weekly podcast airing at 1800 Central each Thursday.

Why Do This?
With “On Loan”, it is our hope to be a place where many bloggers find new readers through exposure on YouServed.com. It’s also time for everyone to update their RSS feeds – Dust that thing out!

You Served will introduce everyone to some undiscovered voices making waves in the milblog community throughout 2009. Voices you’ll want to come back to time and again, on their own blogs, long after they’ve taken a bow from our spotlight.
