I found this on Wives in Bloom and I can’t wait to see it. The preview is extremely emotional and I can see why the military families who viewed the movie gave it a thunderous applause!

Jocelyn Green:
On Friday December 3rd, at 8/7c on NBC, the world television movie premiere of A Walk In My Shoes will provide a revealing look at two families whose lives collide and the struggles facing our military communities. This film, the latest family movie produced by Walmart and Procter & Gamble’s Family Movie Night initiative, was recently screened with military families at Fort Belvoir in Virginia and Bethesda Naval Hospital in Maryland to thunderous applause. Those in attendance praised the movie as a compelling drama and for educating others on complexities endured by military families, and as a great movie the whole family can enjoy together.

  1. I’ve been waiting to see this movie, and am glad to hear it got rave reviews at Belvoir. You just never know about Hollywood and the military- sometimes it’s not very flattering or realistic.

  2. I have a son who just got out of 6 years of the Army, serving combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. We missed the showing and want to see it online if we can. Please let me know if you find it online somewhere.
Also, our younger son was an extra in the movie… in the halls and gym scenes. We were all busy the night the movie aired. :(
