WASHINGTON – President Bush ordered a comprehensive review Friday of conditions at the nation’s military and veteran hospitals in the wake of a scandal surrounding care for wounded troops at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington.

The White House said the president would name a bipartisan commission to assess whether the problems at Walter Reed existed at other facilities.

The action came after The Washington Post documented squalid living conditions for some outpatient soldiers at Walter Reed and bureaucratic problems that prevented many troops from getting adequate care.

This is just another example of the “don’t care attitude” of the Bush regime. If theirs no money to be made then ‘We the People just don’t exist’. We have seen their disregard for doing the right thing time and time again so why should anyone with any intelligence be surprised that this is happening. Its a fact that the Bush regime only takes care of it’s own. This is just one more example of their lack of human decency and compassion for others . This attrocity can be added to the very long list of attrocities that have and will continue to be commit by this administration as long as they are in power. Our soliders and their families are not paid a living wage, they are sent to die for no reason and if they are lucky enough to be wounded they are not taken care of. Am I surprised…No!! This admistration has shown over and over again that they don’t care about anything but money, themselves and the people that have money. What has happened to this country? It just makes me sick that this is happening in what use to be one of the greatest countries in the world prior to Bush. What about the other VA hospitals? Are they going to look into them? What does surprise me is that the story got out since so many things that this admin does is never reported by our sorely inadequate news media. WE DESPARATELY NEED A CHANGE IN GOVERNMENT!!!. I’ll probably be a marked person for writing this like the soliders that were isolated because they dared to tell their story. Are we in Hilter’s Germany or what?
