Veteran's Happy Home - The Burris Family
Air Force Veteran Wayne Burris and his wife Anna recently purchased their new home with a VA Loan. Read on to learn more about their experience with VA Mortgage Center.com.
After an illustrious 20-year career with the Air Force, the Burris family decided to return to Wayne's original hometown of Enid, Oklahoma. During Wayne's time as a Computer Operations Manager the family found themselves residing all around the world, including in Denver, Colorado; Honolulu, Hawaii; Stuttgart, Germany; Omaha, Nebraska and Osan, Korea. Three years after Wayne's retirement, the couple returned to Enid to be near their family, which includes three grown daughters and four grandchildren. Today, Anna is a homemaker and Wayne is a civilian working for the Air Force as the Chief Information Officer at the 71st Medical Group at Vance AFB in Enid.
When choosing their new home, Wayne and Anna were looking for small acreage, but wanted to avoid making a down payment. This immediately made a VA Loan a great choice for their home loan needs.
