VA Loan Specialist - James Chapman

James has been in the mortgage industry for over six years. He has held positions such as assistant credit manager, credit manager, loan officer, senior loan officer and VA loan specialist. James has a wide range of experience in various types of mortgage programs ranging from Conventional Financing, VA, FHA, Interest Only, NO DOC, and Alt A programs.

James attended the University of Florida where he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Finance and a Masters of Science in Decision Information Science. While attending school, he owned and operated his own small business.

Once James graduated, he knew he wanted a career where he could put his skills to the test while working with and helping people on a daily basis.

Driven to increase his success while maintaining his attention to customer service, James joined forces with fellow loan officer and VA specialist Jake Vehige and assistant loan officers Josh Smith and Catherine Stewart. With the formation of their team Jake, Josh, Cate and James found an increase in customer attention to detail as well as an ability to always be available to answer customer questions and concerns. The development of his team has helped James increase the amount of home buyers he was able to help and maintain his award winning customer service.

He enjoys working with people and helping them with one of the most important steps of their lives: their dream of becoming new home owners.
