Underwriting Manager - Columbia, MO

VAMortgageCenter.com has an immediate opening for experienced Mortgage Underwriting Manager to work either from our Columbia, MO or Lenexa, KS offices.

VAMC's Underwriting Manager will:

  • Manage and direct the work and performance of Underwriters
  • Perform periodic reviews on individual underwriters to ensure appropriate adherence to guidelines
  • Assist staff members in carrying out their responsibilities
  • Monitor underwriter production to ensure company turn times are being met
  • Ensure that staff is in compliance with all pertinent regulations and maintain proper documentation standards at all times.

Qualified Candidates will:

  • Have at least 5 years of government underwriting experience
  • Have a current DE, LAPP and SAR designations
  • Have prior supervisory experience
  • Be able to work from either our Lenexa, KS office or Columbia, MO headquarters
