Loan Officer - Baltimore, MD
A Loan Officer works with VA Mortgage Center.com's customers to assist them in identifying and securing a mortgage loan that is appropriate for their individual financial circumstances and designed to help them achieve their financial goals.
The duties of this position will include:
- Developing referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers, and other sources in order to proactively solicit business
- Calling prospective borrowers
- Collecting borrower financial information
- Analyzing borrower credit for pre-approval of loan applications
- Educating borrowers on the loan process, risks and benefits of loan alternatives and types of loan programs that best meet their needs
A Qualified Candidates Will Possess:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3-5 years of mortgage experience
- Prior government lending experience (FHA or VA)
- Diligence, a great work ethic and a desire to succeed
- Ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Initiative and be a self-starter
