Web Application Developer - Columbia, MO

VAMC is seeking a talented individual with web application development experience to help us in our growth. We are continually working on new applications to streamline all aspects of the loan procurement process.

The responsibilities for this position include working with complex database queries as well as all stages of the software development life cycle: From requirements gathering, front end and back end design, development, testing, implementing, to maintaining applications.

A bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required. Candidates will be expected to show examples of web applications they have worked on and helped to build.

The majority of our web applications are created using LAMP (Linux Apache MySQL PHP), (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Ajax so experience in these areas is preferred.

Work hours and work atmosphere is relaxed. Minimum of 40 hours per week. Starting pay is very competitive and is accompanied by an excellent benefits package that includes three weeks paid time off, employer paid health insurance, 401 (k), casual work environment & free lunch on Mondays.
