CJ, You have done about the most compassionate update I have read. Thank you. I have been trying to find updates on this your soldier without having to weigh through all of the speculation about him. I deeply appreciate your write up.

His family is waiting in a virtual hell right now, and it saddens me deeply that they may be reading some of the stuff being said about their soldier.

Until the truth comes out, I urge everyone not to judge anything this Soldier says as anything other than coerced and/or under duress.

I agree….they could have been pointing an AK-47 at him (behind the camera, of course) the whole time during this ‘interview’ and told him that if he did not say exactly what they wanted they would shoot him dead on the spot.

We pray for his safe release.

In my opinion the message relates to what is going on in our country right now. We have an illegal president elected by the American People. They think if their message goes directly to the American people that they will demonstrate in the streets and demand from our Government that all Troops must be withdrawn just like it happened back in Vietnam.

As a two tour Vietnam Vet I have learned one thing..Never judge a Brother or Sister in arms who has been captured ..Unless you have been down on your knees with your hands tied behind your back yourself.
I hugged John McCain and thanked him for all the years he spent in a prison cell and for comeing home with honor..unlike a few who took a pass and come home early.

Active..Retired..or Civilian..Please say a silent prayer for this trooper and wish him Gods speed home.
