Someone coming from Va Beach, Norfolk, Suffolk, Portsmouth, or Chesapeake is adding easily 2 to 2.5 hours commute just to get to RIC. I appreciate JetBlue's gesture. As for the rest of the warfighting military; it doesn't help. Nice, a deal for military leadership (who can afford a full fare ticket and probably has a billion frequent flyer miles), but not for the normal grunt living at Ft Hood, Texas or Minot, ND (who could have used a deal like this).
