They take everything to extreme and play God with the environment. It's as though they care more about animals than human beings. I know that animals have their place but they shouldn't be protected over the lives of people and it's just ridiculous that they have cost the government so much money. Like you said that's millions of dollars that could be spent to upgrade the military. I can't stand Al Gore but that's another subject all together! My detailer, whom I pulled a prank on at my first duty station, got back at me and I received orders to Edwards AFB. I've seen a few of those turtles, I hear they make good soup.
