The Outstanding VFW Website Award
You Served and VA Mortgage Center.com are proud to announce the winners of our “Outstanding VFW Website Award” for 2007. 20 posts from around the nation have been chosen, after over a month of evaluations, as those that we feel represent the best of the best of VFW websites.
Each post will be receiving a $50 donation check from You Served, all of which is funded by the employees of VA Mortgage Center.com. It’s our salute to the VFW and all the great services they provide for the mil/vet community.

August 18th, 2007 at 4:05 pmI find it interesting that one of the winners listed here is also the winner of the Official National VFW Post Website Contest: Springfield Post 7327 site, http://www.vfwpost7327.org/ but what is more interesting is that the Department of Louisiana, http://www.louisianavfw.org (Second place of the Official National VFW Department Website Contest) AND the Springfield VA Post’s sites are IDENTICAL with the exception of border color and masthead images. I have to congratulate them for their accomplishments, but hope to see a little bit more orriginality in the future winners.

June 24th, 2009 at 9:52 amThough posted almost two years ago, I just ran across this page. I did both the Springfield VFW website and the Louisiana website. I’m a VFW Ladies Auxiliary member and did both sites as a volunteer effort. I do what I can with limited input and even more limited time.
